buck01.jpg (29101 bytes) Beautiful little Steenbok standing in the road between Monamodi and the main entrance. We were on our way to the Ablution facilities not to far from the main gate.

The ablution facilities include gas-heated hot water.

The camp site sports some showers and long-drop toilets (pit latrines) and water for general purpose albeit very brackish. We only realised that these were avaialble after the girls have left for the facilities at the main entrance. Here is no hot water though.

What is this? If anybody can provide Vinkie with information on it please mail me. Vinkie thinks it is some type of tick. It is about 1/2cm long and there were lots of them. tick01.jpg (45980 bytes) tick02.jpg (27415 bytes)
weather01.jpg (21476 bytes) The weather was great even though there were some spectacular thunderstorms later the week. It did cool things down somewhat.
